Our Mission & Values

St. Mary’s Primary School offers a distinctive Catholic education within a caring, welcoming, Christian community, where everyone can feel valued, confident and secure; and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

As a level 2 Rights Respecting school, we believe and respect the individuality of all children within our school. We belief that each person is unique, talented and loved by God and we embed this within all aspects of school life  (Article 28 and 29).

By working in partnership with parents, parish and the community, we aim to create a challenging, stimulating and effective learning environment, where Christ is our inspiration.

Our mission statement , which was written with the children, is central to the life of our school.

“You will shine among them like stars in the sky  ” (Philippians 2:15)

Article 23: Children who have any kind of disability should have special care and support so that they can lead a full and independent life
